Following its world premiere at Cannes earlier this year, Jane Campion’s Bright Star has now sold to:

+ Atlantic Film for Scandinavia
+ SSG for Taiwan
+ Babilla for Colombia
+ Phars for the Middle Wast
+ PT Camila for Indonesia
+ Golden Village for Singapore
+ Myndform for Iceland
+ Vertigo for Spain
and to
+ Bull Pohlad and Bob Berneys new distribution venture in the US.

According to American website Screen Daily, Bright Star – made by AFTRS graduate Jane Campion which tells the story of the love affair between John Keats (Ben Whishaw) and Fanny Brawne (Abbie Cornish) – is now virtually “sold out”.

We look forward to watching the world discover this beautifully made film crafted by one of the leading lights of the Australian film industry.
